What this policy covers

This policy covers two separate products with different data practices:

• The Prayer Flip iOS and iPadOS app has no account system, advertising system, proprietary backend, or third-party analytics integration.
• The prayerflip.com website uses Google Analytics 4 for basic page and App Store-click measurement, as described below.

Data collection in the App

The App does not collect or store personal data on developer-controlled servers. Prayer Flip has no user accounts, advertising system, or developer-operated backend.

Your onboarding answers, optional preferred name, reminder choices, favorites, streaks, activity history, background preference, and God Lock settings remain on your device. Prayer Flip does not receive this information.

Apple may provide the App with verified StoreKit transaction and entitlement status so Prayer Flip can determine whether Premium access is active and show accurate subscription-management options. We do not receive your payment information.

Notifications, widgets, Siri, shortcuts, and Live Activities

Prayer-time notifications are scheduled locally through Apple's notification system. Widget, Siri, Shortcut, and Live Activity information is shared only through Apple's on-device frameworks and the App's private App Group container. Prayer Flip does not transmit this information to the developer.

User-directed sharing

When you choose Share, the App generates an image of the devotional card's front entirely on your device and passes it to Apple's system share sheet. We do not receive, upload, store, or track the image, the destination you choose, or whether sharing was completed. The app or service you select may process the image under its own terms and privacy policy.

Purchases and subscriptions

Purchases, introductory offers, subscription offer codes, renewals, cancellations, and refunds are handled by Apple through the App Store. Apple's privacy policy governs these transactions. Prayer Flip reads verified StoreKit state only to grant access and show subscription-management options.

Third-party services in the App

The App does not integrate with third-party analytics, advertising, or developer-operated servers. RevenueCat is not included in this release. If RevenueCat is introduced later, Prayer Flip's data flows, privacy disclosures, and policies must be reviewed before release.

Prayer Flip uses Apple services such as StoreKit, notifications, widgets, App Intents, FamilyControls, ManagedSettings, and the system share sheet to provide features on your device.

God Lock and Screen Time

God Lock uses Apple's FamilyControls and ManagedSettings capabilities on your device to temporarily shield apps during a session you deliberately start. App and category selections are represented by Apple's on-device FamilyControls tokens. Prayer Flip and its developer do not receive a list or the names of the apps you select or block.

Shielding happens on-device and is removed when the session ends or Emergency Unlock is used. Prayer-time notifications never start God Lock or shield apps automatically.

Data deletion

Settings > Delete Account erases Prayer Flip's local profile, onboarding draft, preferences, favorites, and activity history from the device. Prayer Flip does not create an online account, so there is no server-side account or developer-held profile to delete.

Deleting the App removes its locally stored devotional data from that device. Because there is no Prayer Flip account or proprietary cloud backup, reinstalling the App does not restore that local history or those preferences. A verified Apple purchase can still be restored. Deleting App data does not cancel an Apple subscription; subscriptions are managed by Apple.

Analytics on prayerflip.com

Unlike the App, this website uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how many people visit, which pages they read, and when someone taps a Download on the App Store link. Google Analytics may collect standard web measurement data such as viewed pages, approximate region derived from an internet protocol address, device and browser type, referring site, and cookies used to distinguish visits.

We use this information to understand whether the website helps parents find Prayer Flip. We do not sell it, run advertising on this site, or use the website to collect prayer content or family profile answers. This website has no account, contact form, or email signup.

You can limit website measurement through your browser's cookie settings, a content blocker, or Google's official Analytics opt-out add-on. These choices do not affect the App.

Children's privacy

The App does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. The App is rated 4+ and contains no objectionable content. Prayer Flip is designed for parents and other adult caregivers.

Changes to this policy

If we update this privacy policy, we will revise this page and its Last updated date. Changes affecting the App will also be reviewed for inclusion in a future app update. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of any changes.
