Subscriptions and purchases
How do I restore my purchase?
Open Prayer Flip and go to Settings > Restore Purchase. This asks Apple to refresh your verified Weekly, Monthly, Annual, or previously purchased Lifetime entitlement. Make sure the device is signed into the Apple Account used for the original purchase.
How do I manage or cancel my subscription?
Open Prayer Flip Settings > Manage Subscription, then choose Continue to manage subscription. This opens Apple's subscription-management screen. You can also open the Settings app, tap your name, then tap Subscriptions. Prayer Flip cannot cancel a subscription for you.
How do the subscription plans differ?
Weekly, Monthly, and Annual unlock the same Premium features. The approved United States launch prices are $5.99 per week, $29.99 per month, and $59.99 per year. Apple's purchase sheet shows the current localized price and controlling renewal terms before you confirm.
Why don’t I see a free trial?
Apple determines introductory-trial eligibility for the subscription group. Eligible Annual and Monthly customers may receive a seven-day free trial. If Apple says your account is not eligible, Annual or Monthly charges immediately according to the purchase sheet. Prior use of an introductory offer in the same subscription group may make you ineligible.
Does Weekly include a trial?
No. Prayer Flip Weekly is $5.99 per week at the approved United States launch price, charges immediately, and has no free trial. Apple's purchase sheet controls the final localized terms.
Can I restore an older Lifetime purchase?
Yes. Lifetime is not offered as a new purchase, but a verified prior Lifetime purchase continues to unlock Premium and remains available through Restore Purchase.
God Lock
God Lock isn’t quieting my selected apps. What should I do?
God Lock requires Screen Time authorization and at least one selected app or category. Open God Lock, follow the authorization prompt, confirm your selections, and try again. If authorization remains denied or the prompt no longer appears, restart Prayer Flip and check the Screen Time permission for Prayer Flip in Apple's Settings app.
How do I end a God Lock session early?
Tap Emergency Unlock on the active God Lock screen. It remains available throughout the session and immediately removes the app shields. God Lock is voluntary and never takes irreversible control of your device.
Why can’t I see actual app shielding in Simulator?
Apple's FamilyControls shielding is not available in Simulator. Actual shielding requires a supported physical iPhone or iPad running iOS or iPadOS 17 or later.
Can a Prayer Time start God Lock automatically?
No. A Prayer Time sends a devotional reminder. Tapping it can offer you the choice to begin God Lock, but every session starts only after you deliberately choose to start it.
Prayer Times and notifications
How do I configure Prayer Times?
Go to Settings > Quiet Time > Prayer Times. Premium members can set up to five daily devotional reminders and choose a God Lock duration. The reminder does not start that duration automatically.
Why didn’t my reminder arrive?
Open Apple's Settings app, choose Notifications, then Prayer Flip, and confirm Allow Notifications is enabled. Also confirm the Prayer Time is active and its time is correct inside Prayer Flip. Apple notification delivery settings, notification summaries, and device-level preferences may affect when an alert appears.
How do I change my daily reminder time?
Go to Settings > Daily Reminder and adjust the time.
Widgets, favorites, and sharing
My Prayer Flip widget is blank or out of date. What should I do?
Open Prayer Flip once so the App can refresh its local card data, then return to the Home Screen. If needed, remove the widget and add it again. Confirm Prayer Flip and iOS or iPadOS are up to date. Widget information stays on-device through Apple's frameworks and Prayer Flip's private App Group container.
How do favorites work?
Tap the heart on a daily card to add or remove it from Favorites. Open Your Deck and use the Favorites filter to return to saved cards. Favorites stay on your device.
How do I share a Scripture card?
Tap Share on a card. Prayer Flip generates a branded image of the card's front on your device and passes it to Apple's system share sheet. Prayer Flip does not receive the destination you choose or learn whether sharing was completed.
What is Your Deck?
Your Deck is your devotional card library. It brings together daily cards, favorites, and recently viewed cards as a calm collection of Scripture, reflection, prayer, and practical action.
What is Your Journey?
Your Journey is a quiet record of time spent with God. It shows the days you showed up, your prayer rhythm, devotional rhythm, longest rhythm, and a calendar of devotional activity. It is not a score or competition.
Profiles and on-device data
Can I change my parenting season?
Your parenting season is set during onboarding and personalizes daily action prompts. It is not currently editable in Settings. Contact support if the saved season is preventing Prayer Flip from fitting your family.
What happens to my data if I delete Prayer Flip?
Prayer Flip has no account or proprietary backend. Deleting the App removes its local profile, preferences, favorites, and devotional activity from that device, and a later reinstall does not restore that history. Verified Apple purchases can be restored. Deleting the App does not cancel an Apple subscription.
How do I erase my Prayer Flip data without deleting the App?
Open Settings > Delete Account. This removes Prayer Flip's local profile, onboarding draft, preferences, favorites, and activity history even though Prayer Flip does not create an online account. It does not cancel an Apple subscription.
About Prayer Flip
What’s with the sparrow?
His name is Solomon. Solly is Prayer Flip's sparrow mascot, and he appears throughout the App as a warm companion. We have larger plans for him in future versions, but no specific feature or release date to announce yet.
Where do the Bible verses come from?
Prayer Flip uses public-domain translations: the Berean Standard Bible (BSB), World English Bible (WEB), and King James Version (KJV).
